a word from the management

Timmy, the Dalek headwaiter, awaits your order

Welcome to Nyder's Dyner. Sit down, pull up a chair. Peruse the menu. Please tip the waiter generously, and for Heaven's sake don't make jokes about stairs; he's tetchy. And now, if you're heartily sick of the belaboured restaurant metaphor, go click on one of the links below, already. Recent updates are listed at the bottom of the page.

17 January 2008: The blog is now "Nyder's Takeaways"-- same content, new label. Also the inevitable LGB Who update, including Voyage of the Damned and new Torcwhood.

If anyone's been trying to get in touch with me lately and hasn't heard or has received an error message-- DH2.net has installed an aggressive new spamfilter and it's been blocking most of my legit mail to my nyder.com and kaldorcity.com addresses too. I've been checking it and whitelisting everyone I find,  but I thought I should give you all a heads-up.

8 December 2007: LGB Who updated, with more on The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Runaway Bride, and the Children in Need special. Also, I'm thinking of renaming the blog-- if you care, let me know by voting in the poll.

7 September 2007: New feature-- The LOL'ing Prisoner, cat macros for The Prisoner fans! Check it out at http://inocanhasnumber.blogspot.com.

28 August 2007: Yes, yes guys, I know-- I haven't really done justice up until now to the hilarious homoeroticism of the Doctor-Master relationship in "The Sound of Drums"/"The Last of the Time Lords." Thanks to you all for your suggestions, and I've updated LGB Who accordingly (plus additional stuff elsewhere in the old series). Also: the new book is finally out-- I suggest you all buy it (yes, LGB Who fans, we do discuss gay subtexts in it).

Goodbye Doctor! Goodbye!
